The school is non-sectarian, co-educational, with day and boarding, enrolling over 1,400 students aged 2 to 18 years. The campus is located in Surrey, to the south of central London, and within easy reach of Gatwick and Heathrow Airports.
The school offers a world-renowned curriculum including the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, a US High School Diploma, Advanced Placement (AP) courses and the new AP Capstone & International Diplomas. Academic success enables ACS graduates to attend the college of their choice, and many of the world’s finest universities.
The school has state-of-the-art facilities with impressive grounds and an on-going programme of investment, including the construction of a new Boarding House, which opened in 2017. The strong core academics are supported by outstanding co- and extra-curricular opportunities across sports, the visual and performance arts, leadership, and giving.
ACS is a registered UK charity (1179820). ACS undertakes a wide number of programmes to further its charitable aim to advance education, including partnerships with other organisations and offering financially assisted places to students who otherwise would be unable to attend ACS schools.
“ACS Cobham International School is a place where diversity, innovation, academic excellence, and global awareness come together to deliver an exceptional school experience.
Educating children is a great responsibility and privilege in equal measure. To make it work, we need to put a lot in. This begins with seeding the desire for lifelong learning in every student. Then we instill a respect for diversity, an appreciation for what it takes to be a global citizen, and bring out the skills to both follow and lead.
We welcome students from many nationalities and from the local community. That’s what makes our school such a rewarding and rich experience for all, and we always look forward to welcoming new families into our vibrant community.”

A Parent's Perspective
We were looking for an international orientated International Baccalaureate (IB) school which would prepare our children for a future life as truly global citizens in a fast evolving environment. When visiting the Open Day both, us parents and our kids, were blown away by the friendly and knowledgable staff as well as the outstanding facilities.
It was very important for us to find an environment that inspires our kids and naturally turns them into keen learners instead of following the local tradition of employing a fleet of tutors and applying an unreasonable amount of pressure on their very young souls.
What is not written in the prospectus is, that the school really brings out the best in each child. It is non-selective, which may be off-putting to some potential future parents. But the school constantly manages to equip children which would have slipped through the net in another system with a high calibre education.
Late bloomers manage to achieve a good degree which undoubtedly gives them better options in life. There are no square pegs and round holes at ACS. It is an embracing community where everyone is given the opportunity to shine in his/her very own way.
