Head's Up

“Christ College is a modern co-educational boarding and day school for pupils aged 7-18. Since its creation over four centuries ago, Christ College has evolved and developed without losing touch with its sense of heritage and belonging. Our strong, close knit community is characterised by mutual respect and warmth, with each individual pupil’s interests, skills, and needs being appreciated and cared for.”

Inside Scoop from a current parent

Christ College was by far the best school in the area in our view, it is set within stunning scenery and steeped in history. An opportune visit to one of the school’s open days really impressed on us Christ College’s academic ethos and strong connections to the community.

The quality of the music, sport and drama has inspired our daughter and allowed her to excel in all these areas. 90% of Christ College students gain a place at their first choice of university and through being a student at Christ College, our daughter has acquired a sense of self-confidence and happiness which we know will serve her well as she leaves for university and her life ahead.

As Parents, We Love...

  • The school’s outstanding community spirit
  • Their approach to discipline and work ethic
  • The way the school has shaped our daughter’s character and spirit

Our Children Love...

  • Playing hockey and winning the Welsh championship
  • Singing in the chapel choir, particularly singing in St Peter’s, Rome
  • The extra-curricular music and playing the cello in the school orchestra
