Head's Up

“KPS is a local, academically selective school that aims to give each student the framework they need to achieve their best – not just now but in years to come. As a small school, we really tailor what we offer to the needs of our students.”

Paul Vanni

Inside Scoop from a current parent

KPS is a special place. As a small school, every child genuinely knows every other child and every teacher in a very personal way.

Our child came from a large school where he would hide in the back of the classroom and rarely contribute. Within weeks of joining KPS, he was actively participating, sharing his ideas, and most impressive of all, coming home and talking to us with enthusiasm about what he had learned at school. His confidence continues to grow and he is happy about school every day.

As Parents, We Love...

  • The relationships the children build with their teachers
  • The communication with parents through the parent portal so we can see what is happening at the school, as well as all the assignments and when they are due
  • The neighbourhood feel of the school… it’s a joy to be able to walk to school

Our Children Love...

  • Getting to know their teachers both in and out of the classroom – the teachers even engage in sport and table tennis matches with the pupils. It’s a great atmosphere!
  • The variety of club offerings and amazing school trips.
  • Being so close to Hyde Park!

School Highlights

Kensington Park School prides itself on its forward-thinking approach. Its ethos, curriculum and co-curricular provision are geared towards preparing its pupils for the challenges of the 21st century. Emphasis is placed on creativity, developing a child’s interpersonal skills, and encouraging a sense of global understanding.

Learning takes place in a tech-rich environment. Every pupil is equipped with a personal electronic device, but the importance of pen and paper is not forgotten. The school has two collaborative classrooms in which pupils can write on the desks and walls – not to be repeated at home! – bringing a fun, kinaesthetic element into the learning process.

The school boasts some of the country’s most experienced teachers and offers excellent cultural and sporting opportunities, all in the heart of London.
