With a non-selective intake in year 4, we are proud of where our boys go on to with over 70% this year heading to Eton, Harrow, Radley and Winchester, and the rest to other distinguished schools. Last year we were delighted when six boys were awarded scholarships to their chosen Senior Schools.
Eton – King’s Scholarship
Radley – Exhibition Scholarship
St. Paul’s – John Colet Scholarship
Marlborough – 2 x Art Scholarship
Monkton Coombe – Montonian Award
Our U11A football team won the Berks/Bucks/Oxon ISFA Regional Tournament and are heading to the Nationals in May. The 5th IX football team are undefeated for the 5th year in row

A Parent's Perspective
There are many outstanding schools with amazing facilities and excellent results that we could have picked for our boys. Ludgrove checks all the usual boxes but it is unique in delivering that something extra – a real sense of pride and lifetime belonging to a school that gives them the confidence and conviction to excel at what they do with humility and integrity.
Attending Ludgrove gives our children not just an amazing education, a memorable five years of childhood and lifelong friends – it gives them an identity that unites old Ludgrovians, old and young.
As Parents, We Love...
- The intimacy and closeness of all the boys across the year groups, possible because it’s a small school
- The confidence they instil in each child to excel.
- The leadership, led by Headmaster Simon Barber and his wife, Sophie – both passionate about Ludgrove through and through.
Our Children Love...
- The opportunity to play lots of sports
- The close friendships formed
- The music and acting, because of the inspirational teaching
